如何用东北大米做汤?
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) of Northeast rice (大米)
- 1.5 L (5 cups) of water
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1 ginger root, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Wash and soak the Northeast rice for 30 minutes.
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the soaked rice and cook for 15 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.
- Add the onion, carrot, celery, ginger, and garlic to the pot.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot with a side of crusty bread.
Tips:
- For a richer soup, use more water.
- For a lighter soup, use less water.
