Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of chopped fresh thyme, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of chopped fresh basil, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of chopped fresh oregano, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of chopped fresh thyme, finely diced

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the beef: Slice the beef tenderloin thinly against the grain, about 0.5 cm (0.2 in) thick.
  2. Season the beef: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, onion, garlic, parsley, rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano, and thyme. Add the sliced beef and toss to coat.
  3. Marinate the beef: Let the beef marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  4. Grill or pan-fry the beef: Heat a grill or large skillet over medium-high heat. Grill or pan-fry the beef for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
