如何制作豆腐汤?

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) of soybeans, peeled and cubed
  • 1.5 L (3.3 cups) of water
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) of salt
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) of black peppercorns
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) of ground white pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of chopped fresh garlic
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) of chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the soybeans thoroughly and soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain the soybeans and add them to a large pot with the water, salt, vegetable oil, onion, carrot, celery, black peppercorns, white pepper, ginger, garlic, and cilantro.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, or until the soybeans are tender and the broth is absorbed.
  4. Season to taste with salt, black pepper, and white pepper.
  5. Serve hot with a side of crusty bread.

Tips:

  • For a richer soup, use more soybeans or add other vegetables, such as mushrooms or spinach.
  • You can also add a bay leaf to the pot for extra flavor.
  • Serve with a side of crusty bread for dipping.
