Ingredients:

  • 1 kg fresh sea fish fillets, cleaned and scaled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh fennel

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Add the sea fish fillets and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  3. Remove the fish from the pot and set aside.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper to the pot and cook for 5 minutes, or until softened.
  5. Add the fish back to the pot and cook for 5 minutes, or until heated through.
  6. Add the parsley, dill, and fennel to the pot and cook for 5 minutes, or until heated through.
  7. Serve immediately with a side of crusty bread.

Tips:

  • For a richer dish, use a combination of different fish fillets, such as cod, tuna, and salmon.
  • You can also add other vegetables to the dish, such as carrots, celery, or broccoli.
